Hello All I am a new member to the forum and have recently bought an Achilles 840 and I am a member of Cardiff Bay Yacht Club. This is a great boat and I am sailing regularly in Cardiff Bay while doing work on the boat. Hopefully I will be doing some extensive racing and cruising in the Bristol Channel this year.

Good to hear of another 840! I have Amrum at Thornbury Sailing Club, and get down to Cardiff Bay fairly regularly, so will look you up. Are you aware of the Achilles owner Flickr group? There is a lot of good information about all types of Achilles on that.

I am aware of Flickr group. I am looking for a tuning guide or some information for setting the mast up properly any help would be most welcome. I sail frequently in Cardiff and would love to get advice from another Achilles 840 contact me when you are coming to Cardiff.
