We have a remote fob for the passarelle (Bensenzoni) with buttons matching those on the boat. Problem is the remote seems to transmit (red light flashes) but the unit does not seem to receive.

I need to look more closely at it when we are out again in 2 weeks time, as I don't think I heard any relays clicking when the remote was used, and it works fine from the panel on the radar arch, but other than changing batteries in remote, can you think of anything else to check for before eldest son (electronic engineer by trade) has the whole thing dismantled on the pontoon when he comes out at Easter :ambivalence:

Did you try the hand held remote nearer ,ie in the boat around the back .If the batts are duff ,it loses it's strength and range gradually until you replace them .
How ever if it's been stood unused then hopefully the bat s dead ,v dead ,just lights up led only .

If its not the bat then ck the dip switches ,and ck the power to the reciever that the remote sends its signal to .Reset button ,or switch on /off like a PC playing up !

The cockpit panal is hard wired .

Sometimes these remotes lose the pairing. There is pairing process that you may learn from the manual or by googling. You may try for it after replacing with fresh batteries.

1. Remote must be very accurately pointed at receiver eye, perpendicularly. Not angled
2. New battery
3. Re-pair. Very easy instructions written on electronic box inside boat. It's not a dipswitches job.
