Passage to Northern Spain

I am looking at a singlehanded trip to Northern Spain & Portugal late July/August, at best one crew initially deparing Harwich. If you have done this trip recently I would appreciate any information on. Route/Passage time/Weather

Gijon or Sada(Ria Ares and Betanzos) would be my choice of entry harbours along the north coast.

If you want to stay fairly west in the bay -Ribadeo has an easy entrance and reasonable facilities. Have a good trip!

am thinking of doing the same trip, but day sailing down the french coast right into the bottom right hand corner and then along the north coast of spain. again, any comments gratefully received.
