I do not have a PC (Mac and ipad only) and software seems mainly aimed at PC users.

Is there a product (or even better an app) that can support route planning with particular reference to tides. Ideally it would be great to have a start and end point and be told estimated passage time reflecting tide currents and optimum time to leave to maximise favourable tides. I mainly sail along south west coast but am planning a trip to Channel Islands next year.

I know its cheating but if there are any products that do this I would be pleased to take a look at them.

Thanks in advance.

This seems to get favourable user reports

it's mainly a grib retrieval and display tool, but has lots of other functions, namely routing by isochrones with wind and current data. I never used it myself, so I do not know in detail if/how it handles *tidal* currents; maybe worth having a look?

Some screenshots here, it's in French but it should give an idea of the type of data treatment

Alternatively, but for PC only it seems
