Passage Planning Falmouth - Conway

As a local (well almost)
Getting fuel at milford is no problem now that the lock operates 24 hrs and on an hourly basis ,call on ch14. Not like before where there was only 1 entry per tide.
Marina is normally lively with plenty of eateries and Tescos adjacent for restocking (all a bit on hold at the moment)
Neyland a pretty marina with good shelter, lower basin available 24 hrs, upper basin HW +/- 3hrs fuel only when Dale sailing open call on 01646 603110. 1x eatery +1x cafe , restocking is a fair walk up a steep hill to a small co-op.

As for Skomer/Skokholm, best to run through Jack sound but avoid periods of maximum flow as it can get interesting.

I agree with everything tico says and need to clarify my comments. Neyland marina is very nice. The Cleddau river is stunning as is the whole of the Pembrokeshire coastline, award winning even. Neyland town is a dump lol. ;):)(y)

Hiya

as a North Sea dweller I need some help.
new boat based in Falmouth and looking to relocate it.

170 miles fuel range so need at least one stop. Fairly sussed on the run in to deganwy.

Any advice please? Roadblocks, things to consider?

Out of interest what type of boat are you using for this passage?
