Paros - Athens

Busy planning our first charter in Greece, as mentioned route will be Paros-Athens. Yes I know it would be easier the other way. Would welcome all advice and pointers inc must see's. Does any body know where I could get a chart so we can start planning.

You haven't mentioned for how many days...
Anyway, before leaving Paros make sure you visit Naousa on the north of the island (sail there or by taxi). BEAUTIFUL. Then depending how much time you have you could go to Serifos (Livadi) 30nm or Siros (Ermoupoli) 25nm. Next stop, could be Kithnos (Loutra). That's another 20-25nm. Then you could anchor for some hours under Sounio (25nm from Kithnos) for a swim (depending when you are going). If final destination is Alimos marina, this will be another 25nm.

couldn`t agree more about Noussa - what a beautiful stopover.did it lasy year on route to Turkey -will stop off there again on way back spring 2009.

Will have the boat for 9 days so should have time do do a bit.

CA have charts of whole world (well, as was in 1986!) Well worth couple of hours in library if you are a member (where they happen to have a photocopier), if not you could always express an interest in joining and ask to look at the library.

Your profile is minimal but Plan B: if you live in Kent, pm us, we have the chart under our bed.
