Does anyone have the lyrics for this? Just heard about it and want to add to my song list!! I believe the chorus starts "YOU'VE PICKED A FINE TIME TO HEAVE UP LUCILLE". I've done various seaches but to no avail!
Great music (well music anyway!!) up the Guadiana, but this probably won't add to it!!!!

I heard this parody sung by Tony Snell in the BVI during the 1970's. Tony had a bar/resturant (The Last Resort) near the airport by Tortola. It was a popular place for charter guests to anchor for the night and have dinner. The lyrics referred to a charter cook "Lucille". He had other songs as well. One was the "Rum Stoned Captain" a parody of the "Rhinestone Cowboy".
