A question with a very obvious answer but thought someone might be able to shed new light on the problem. What do you do if there are no berths/moorings available in the area you want to live aboard?

Cry and look elsewhere.

on inland waterways this problem is particularly acute.

Estuaries and coastal - good anchors?

A very obvious answer? Then why ask? or am I simplifying matters too much?

Baffled of London.

You're all a bunch of wimps! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Stop pussy-footin about!
Torpedoes and Limpit Mines are the answer.

Or.... Or... <fiendish plot developing>

Hire a really evil looking and smelling tramp to sit on the mooring for a few hours each day. Drinking meths and swearing profusely....

Or..Or...

For a more PC solution. Maybe a mentally handicapped with Teretze (spelling?) syndrome. And if that is a bit beyond the pale ....then I can do a fairly good impersonation if you like. (but the fees may be too high)

Just a thought.....
