There's usually loads of space on Burnell Avenue, which runs parallel to the river the same side of the river as the lock cut moorings and a short walk across the grass to the boats. I haven't parked there for a while so they may have changed the regs its possible.
High street or Manor Road (not the Twickenham road one there are two!) or Langham but not I repeat not Ferry Road!!! its residents only and you WILL get a ticket, you may get lucky and find a free space outside the boat shop at the bottom of Ferry Road but obey the parking restrictions there as you may get towed or flooded...
Just to clarify, Burnell Avenue is Ham (Surrey) side, and Langham Road, High Street & Twickenham/Manor Road are all in Teddington on the Middlesex side.
As Richard says, avoid Ferry Road due to flooding and parking restrictions and the same goes for Broom Road.
There is some parking also on Kingston Road on the left by the playing field as the road heads to Kingston.
Thanks for that , Paul
I was hoping to flush out somewhere on the Surrey side so Outinthedinghy's suggestion of Burnell Avenue sounds good to me.
I am well aware of the probs on the other side. Have given a couple of lectures at the Landmark Arts Centre and wont go now unless they provide me with a spot !
Re: Parking near Teddington Lock - supplementary...
