Parking in Lymington

Can anyone offer suggestions of where to park a car from Friday to Monday in Lymington? I was wondering if any of the industrial estates were feasible?

If you are boating, the marina's are ok, however if not, forget using any "industrial estates", they are 4 hr max on road.
You can obviously pay. Go to the local council office, buy a clock ( about £25 for quarter year) & use an appropriate carpark. They have different designations, so check first. Also check if they allow 24 hr parking, since some do not allow overnight. Do not use the ferry carparks, there is a ripoff operating.
When you have finished with the parking clock I'll happily take it off your hands & bin it for you.;)

Thanks Alant, we won't have an opportunity to buy a clock, and won't be able to visit the car between Friday and Monday. Thanks for letting me know about the '4 hour max'.
It can be a mile or three from Lymington, are there any restrictions on the residential streets?

Some.
Where in Lymington are you visiting & when?

We're meeting in Lymington, leaving one car then going off in the other, so parking doesn't have to be near the town or the marinas. Any residential street suggestions are welcome as long as it's not going to inconvenience anyone. Lymington Marina won't entertain anyone parking paying or not that is not using the marina which is fair enough. One NFDC car park offers 24 hour parking for £20 for three days which is the fall back option.
Thanks for your suggestions. If there are any residential street parking that's suitable then please PM me.

If it helps - my daughter just had to park in Lymington for 8 days, we were advised to simply pop it in a residential street.
There's one that runs up from the car park near the Dan Bran which we found a side street off where there were loads of room.

Happy to report no issues and no cost.

That's what we did a couple of years back, can't remember exactly where but no problems.

There's parking in Stanley Road and the roads off it. Stanley Road is the one that runs down towards the Quay past the Mayflower - I feel for the residents sometimes but it is a public street. You'll struggle on a half decent weekend though as it will be full of RIB trailers.

Already advised that.
