Just back from a quick visit.

In my opinion and in that of the two people with me who have never set foot on a boat before, the Amel Super Maramu stood out head and shoulders above any of the other boats we saw. It just oozes quality and good ideas. They have also brightened up the interior and the exterior has a new more attractive colour scheme.

(Too long a wait to get on the Nauticats)

It is really awful! Why dont they just go for a moulded in non slip? Or if they or customers must have teak, have real teak!

Why does evrybody focus on this tiddling aspect when the overall concept of the boat is brilliant? Amel said he did not want wood on the exterior of the boat because it involves maintenance. Looked at in this light I have no problem with it and it doesn't look that bad either - IMHO.

I admit to having the sort of reservation that TK has - on paper - until I actually get on and get in the boat.

I admit though to having the sort of reservation that TK has - on paper - until I actually get on and get in the boat. Then it just feels - right.

I was also amazed when I was on one at Southampton Boat ... fantastic ideas and execution below allied to superb quality. A new moulding for the deck and she'd be perfect. The price wa also very good as I remember it. Probably the best boat[of its type] at the Show.
