I would very much appreciate any wisdom from members who have used a para anchor. I carried one for years off shore but seldom used it on a prior boat, but will probably get another for an upcoming trip way south.

Specifically, I am interested in experience with a Pardey bridle - that is, a pennant line off the stern attached to the main rode allowing cocking the vessel to the optimum wind angle. Did it work for you?

Did you buoy the pennant line and/or a trip line for the chute itself?

Specific recommendations on manufacturers. Fiorentino looks like the best, but?

Sizing - did you find the manufacturers recommendations to match your own experience and expectations?

Rode type - 3 strand or braided?

What am I missing? And thank you!
