What tide table publications are available in paper form and used by all you long distance cruiser folk? I am looking at a back up to an Easytide program. I have found the Admiralty website but that's about it. All comments welcome!

I suspect the answer is that few long distance cruising folk have backup tide tables. Many have plotters which will calculate tide, and those in the Med and Caribbean know that though occasionally useful it's not critical.

As a backup, as you asked, the choices that spring to mind are:
1. Almanac - such as Imray which will cover NW Europe and I think you can order updated tide tables as a supplement.
2. Print them out ahead.
3. Get them from the local port office where you are.
4. Online
5. Another boat

Bottom line is that if ever you are sitting in a tide-sensitive port and your software goes down you won't find it hard to find an alternative source.
