Panasonic Toughbook CF-08 connection problems !

Would any of you kind gentlemen know how I would go about getting my Lenovo laptop to talk to my Panasonic CF-08 unit. I have had it for a couple of months now and am at a loss as to how to tie the two units in together !! Thanks.

"Talk to" in the sense of transfer files from one to the other without using a USB stick?

You could connect both to a wifi hub and browse one from the other, or perhaps use an ethernet crossover cable between the two if you don't have a hub. It depends upon what you are trying to achieve.

It should work as a wireless 'slave unit' to my laptop enabling me to use it in the cockpit where it will not only show what the laptop is showing but to control the laptop.

..Then you want to set up remote desktop between the two devices. AS they're on the same network, it should be straightforward... WIndows has a built in capability certainly from XP on... It may be called Remote Assistance in earlier versions.

Ethernet cards have had auto-MDI for at least a decade now - cross-wired cables are a thing of the past. Any ethernet cable will do the job.

I first used a crossover cable about 25 years ago - probably 10 mbit. You youngsters don't know you're born.
