I know a shanty band that's going. If you see a group called Flash Jack give my regards to Gideon. They are very, very good. Many were members of the former group Hanging Jonny which was a rival to the Fisherman's Friends before they signed their recording contract

Our first time to Paimpol, does this mean we may struggle to find a berth? Currently 3 boats + another Friday

They are experts at cramming every one in, BUT you can't! get out till monday morning depends where they put you.

I left Paimpol a couple of days ago, could have stayed and they will fit you in if all possible, there are two hundred classic boats entering on the Thursday' evening free flow as part of the event, so it may be a bit hectic for a time ,

Thanks, we managed to speak to them last night, they could fit us but rafted and no shore power. No big deal but expected 130,000 people and loud music all night is not my idea of a relaxing holiday so I'm heading to St. Quay then into Binic for the weekend. Will move up to Paimpol/Brehat Lezardrieux next week when it should be a bit more peaceful!
