If you own a cat avoid this place like the plague. We pulled in to look for an overnight berth and had to use the fuel quay which was exposed to the SWly blow. On top of that they wanted to charge me approx 30% more for this very uncomfortable night. I am qiute prepared to pay for a 12 or even a 15m berth but they said nothing was available. I did look around later and there were quite a few empty berths. I also had to pay €10 deposit for a card, that proved not to work, on the information that the office opened at 0700. Needless to say I still have the card as we found out later the office did not open until 0900!!! Anybody else found problems on the Spanish Coast?

Thanks for the info. A bit more to add to the sailing plans.

How's the weather? It is bloody awful in the UK. I am still waiting for the summer to start.

Dont wish to rub it in but when we arrived in Barcelona it was showing 102 F in the cabin so had to consider turning on the fan. Barcelona, by the way has a completely different attitude to normal boating folk. Very pleasent and proffessional staff!

Canaries are just as bad, lengthxbreadth, its an absolute rip off. This is why i have three anchors and no shore power fitted, its the only way we can protest is through sites like this, and just persuade people not to use these "facilities"......keith

Mike are certain marinas state run? the one we went into was, its was also a port of entry so we cleared in there, but the attitude was very much take it or leave it. Incedentally a nice marina for multihull is Nazare in Portugal, this is state run as well but what a difference great staff and good security.......cheers keith
