Pair of Volvo TAMD72 in Fairline SQ 43.

Another post re 72a engines, there was one last week about phantom 41 with these motors in, I did reply just me and no further comment from the poster, not even a thankyou.

All I will say is there not one of swedens best models for all sorts of reasons.

If its called jilly b its in port solent and a 1 owner very nice boat, engine history from motortech???

If he needs an engine survey and sea trial send him myway as im always in the southampton/portsmouth area.

Nice feature on the sq 43 this latest edition of MBY.

Personally I think there a very pretty boat but for less money you can have a proper 3 cabin princess 440.

I looked at a sq last weekend in cowes with a for sale sign on.

it was 17 years old and looked as new, boat show condition.

£139 000 was the asking price.

It moors on the river itchin ? where it drys in mud.

Apparently the owner has 'done everything that needs doing' .

Anyone thinking of buying a big guzzler should ask around and try to find it.

It was in yarmouth this weekend a mate looked at it and very nice it is too.

Its moored at Itchen marine.

i am not a fan of the 72's had them in my last princess and one overheated in and picked up on number 5 cylinder then 2 years later the other engine did the same.... told i was very unlucky to have 2 engines go pop...
it was muted that the cooling around number 5 cylinders are a concern.
volvo paul or others will have an experianced response
