Hiya everyone,
I have recently bought a jeanneau sun 2000 that had sat for 10yrs, and so her interior is very grimy. Luckily, most of it has been rectified, and although the headlining did look much better after a shampoo, it is still grimy. Has anyone ever painted headlining, as at this time I can't replace it.

I haven't tried painting headlining, but from your previous post fully understand why you might want to do so.
Hiya everyone,
I am now the proud new owner of a JeanneauSun 2000, however the previous owner left her for around 10years, so she is a bit of a state in some places. One of the main problems is that the headlining is mouldy. Does anyone now a good/tried & tested method to remove this. Keep in mind I'm only 14 so I have to keep one eye on the price. If it is really expensive to treat ill just have to live with it until I can afford new material.
Thanks,
Jack

Maybe a paint used on inflatable dinghies might work as the material is flexible and most paints don't like a 'moving' surface.
When cleaning have you used a nylon type pan brush to work the cleaner into the material ?
I've only been using a sponge but that might be a shout as a last resort to try before I attempt possibly painting it
