Painting engine parts green

When the upgraded alternator came for my new Yanmar it was unpainted. I painted it before installation 12 years ago. It still looks like new. Worth doing as it took very little effort.

Remember to paint the oil and fuel filters green. ?

If it made a massive difference to salability and therefore value of the boat I'd consider it! Realistically that wouldn't, but a non-green starter will so I'll put the 10 minutes of work in on this occasion.
