I have used Sandtex ten year gloss before, and it was reasonable. It made a very vinyl-like skin which could be peeled off sometimes. Now I am using Ronseal ten year gloss, racing green, on the btm of the wood boat. I primed, grey undercoat, then grey green mix undercoat, and am now at least four topcoats in and it's still streaky. Even visible in the pic below. This paint is allagedly usable on bare wood. Not impressed.
The hull is cream Hempel, done last year, which has been good. I have ordered Hempel green gloss now for the tops/gunnels, fingers crossed.
