Paint stripper, what's the best?

Dichloromethane is banned worldwide but is available from many sources, e.g. Starchem Synstryp Paint Stripper | Car Colour Services

Beware that it attacks grp, softening it enough that a scraper will gouge it readily. Probably ok on hulls but it takes off texture on decks.

This is a nasty chemical that has killed frequent users of it. I would only use it outdoors.

Synstrtyp by Starchem is the good old fashioned stuff. I buy it on eBay.

An easier alternative for anything that will stand it is to boil it in 50/50 Persil bio and water.

I had a look in the kitchen but unfortunately I didn't have a pot big enough to put the boat in....LOL

I’ve had good results from B&Q own brand paint stripper. Not expensive. Apply first coat. One hour later apply second coat. Scrape it off an hour later.

?? …same as the Screwfix stuff I recommended above…

But apparently it isn’t deadly enough!
