Paint Remover

Hi All
I think I have single pack paint which has one or 2 blisters and is starting to flack off in places.
I would like to remove it and repaint with a good two pack.
What would be a good remover given that it is on over a GRP jelcoat.
Any advice a help.

Rather than a Two pack, you might consider using International Toplac. It will go over either gel coat or conventional paint after the usual preparation and gives a good long lasting finish. It is much easier to apply than most Two packs, easier to touch up and cheaper.

As I understand it.

To test it to see if it is single pack apply some two pack thinners, if it blisters then it's single. In which case you would need to completely remove the single pack before using a two pack.

In conclusion I would suggest you sell the boat and buy something that doesn't need painting or you will be embarking on a lifetime of servitude to the demon 'Brush'.
