Interesting question. On some internet chandlery sites it says yes, but when you look at the spec. itself then it appears that you can only do so after using a specific primer.
I'm confused I'm afraid.
Blakes say it is suitable for use on aluminium alloys but because it contains a copper compound it must be applied over a suitable epoxy primer to avoid contact with the aluminium
Thanks for your input. Im going to give it a go. As the drives and transome shield are already painted, no bare alluminium,a rub down with 120 grit ,for a key, and on it goes. Will let you know how it performs in a year or two!
