Hello gents !

The genny smokes "light" white , not sure if its steam or smoke . Gets a bit worse when fully warmed up .

Any idea how i can diagnose if its headgasket or injector nozzle ?

Genny starts good , no water in oil , no overheating .

Thanks for any hints !

Is the exhaust water flow running well? If not it could be a hot exhaust elbow/system making steam. Depending on the specific installation there may be a lot of rubber pipe stuffed in the gennie enclosure that the sea water cooling goes around before it gets to the exhaust elbow. Check it isn't trapped or kinked anywhere.
You could disconnect the rubber pipe at the exhaust elbow, put the free end in a bucket and run the engine for a minute and see how good the water flow is.
A minute or two won't damage the exhaust hose. Take the exhaust elbow off and check it isn't furred up.

Does the exhaust smell "diesely"? If so it could be the injector needs servicing.
The head gasket is a solid copper ring so not likely to fail. You say it starts well so compression is good too.
The cylinder head water cooling gaskets are two red O rings outside the head gasket. If they leak - they leak outside the engine - wet engine.
The farymann engine is very easy to work on if you have reasonable access and the relevant pages from the manual. The injector is easy to remove too!
If the cooling system all looks good I would take the injector out and get it tested.

Thank you so much , your posting has simply amazing information !

The genny has waterflow but indeed the service is stretched nd i will give it a new impeller , oil and airfilter .

If problem will still be present i will remove the injector and let check it .

Very useful that its very unlikely the headgasket .

access and space is at a premium unfortunetly , gobbi designed the engine bay in a 375sc for kids working there ?

A happy update : changed the impeller and oil and all is fine ! There is now way more water out of the exhaust and no more white steam . Kashurst had the right hint :

the waterflow was low due to a worn impeller and the exhaust was to hot .

Great simple engine to work on .

Great community here, thank you very much for your help !
