Heard from the grapevine that racers from Swansea arriving at Padstow had to wait for two hours to enter the river due to rough seas.
I have been to Padstow many times over then years, but have never had a problem going in or out, despite quite big seas...
I guess I have been lucky, as the entry is undoubtedly a bit tricky in rough weather.
I have never seen less than three metres of water there at the lowest of summer tides.
No doubt will hear the adventures in the next couple of days...
