Paddlewheel replacement for Cetrek Log

My Cetrek C - NET Log is not working and I understand that the paddlewheel of the through hull unit needs to be replaced every few years. Can anyone help with information on how to check if the fault is with the transducer and if so is where can I get a replacement unit or paddle wheel. When I spun the paddle wheel by hand before inserting last week the display showed a speed reading.

I am currently experiencing the same problem - only with a Furuno plotter - and have similar symptoms!

I understand that a large number of through hull transducers are manufactured by Airmar.
On Airmar products there is a label attached to the cable (probably near to the plug that connects with the instrument) upon which is marked the relevant information for spares/replacement.

If it is not an Airmar product, perhaps some other forumites may be able to advise.

I have a Cetrek C-net log which has an airmar transducer its been working for years, only thing is the transducers paddle wheel will bung up and stop working after 10 days with small shrimps or weed if the boat is not used much.

Thanks djc, that sounds encouraging that the unit is most likely an AIRMAR. I have to find the serial number from the cable the next time I am at the boat. The shrimps/weed etc are not the problem as the unit had only been inserted and I had some intermittent problems last season. Thanks for your response.
