hi guys i am refitting a 20ft open hull, i would like to repack the stern gland however there is nothing left in gland i think it has been taken out as gland looks to be fine. shaft is an inch. how will i know how to get correct size packing. is there some rule of thumb with shaft size thanks garry.any additional advise
