Well of course!

Even if you did have one I'd actually probably hoist and drop from the main hatch in that boat, keep the weight of the foredeck and the distance between hatch and forestay is small enough that the hoist will probably still be pretty quick. Bigger boats that can stand weight on the bow are better with the forehatch though.

Of course sheets (and guys if you have a bigger boat) do need to be plenty long enough.

Best if they are long enough and not much longer. That is, only a couple of metres of tail after the last clutch or cam cleat or whatever totally reliable quick-release is used.

Then you can be sure the line will run free if you need to let it fly in a broach.
 
Pretty much as the others said tho I wouldnt use the bucket and rubber band method if you are going to tie it as you have to run the whole kite though even when you only want a few ties eg light winds(you dont want the kite taking for ever to pop from its bindings) I have used the wolling method for 4 seasons so far uselly cheap pink wool to nark the boys with.:D
Myself and the bow man on the one boat that had that system threaten to walk off the boat if the owner wouldnt let me wool. If you can rig up a pully system for speading out the kite it makes it easier for packing I had a luxury set up on Bear of Britain 52ft of stripped out hull mind you they were big kites partially the union jack one.
as for hoisting out through the main hatch in its bag and back in through the forehatch unless you go trawling keep the saloon dryer very important when you are sleeping there.
As for creasing havent you heard that dry kites make excellent beds!:D:D
