Just heard that the Californian based builder of top quality boats, Pacific Seacraft, has gone broke. The assets are to be auctioned off later this month. See www.ostrinauctioneers.com

Very sad that a company that builds boats of superb quality to exceptional designs can't survive.

Sad yes but I imagine a demise rather like many UK boat builders. Small volumes, hand built and v. expensive. A bit of a cult boat but a build process but belonged in the past. The design world has moved on since Bill Crelock, good as he was in his day.
