As acronym's go, this is one that's stuck in my mind ever since driving courses in the RAF back in the 70's and 80's
Pre-start checks for each vehicle
P=Petrol=Full tank/tanks or more than enough for expected use
O=Oil=Engine and gearbox oil
W=Water=Engine and washer
E=Electrics=Lights etc. all working
R=Rubber=Tyres all checked for wear and pressure
Made it simple to remember things on cold dark winter mornings, when all you wanted to do was get the kettle on and warm up. Now, faced with the same before setting off, is there a simple way to remember to do everything before letting go ?
Last thing I want to do is cast off with shore power still connected /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
