Oyster 16

I recently acquired an old Oyster 16 fishing boat circa 1989 and wondered if anyone would happen to know the original suppliers/builders. I tried Bossoms Boatyard but they only supplied the boat without cabin.
The boat has an inboard diesel motor and an open cabin, 16ft length. If anyone can suggest anything I would be greatful.

We owned one of these until last year. I think they were manufactured on or near Hayling Island, but that the company closed many years ago.

What info/help do you need?

Thanks for the info .... would make sense as we got it from local area near hayling. Just wanted the get a rough idea on weight for trailering. Also if you have any hints or tips on the boat that would be great.

The only info I have was from an advert for the boat I found a couple of years ago
lenght 16ft
beam 6.4 ft
draft 1.6ft



A very good, sturdy and well handling little boat - we had a 15hp Johnson 4- OB on ours.

Not much more to say, but we thoroughly enjoyed our ownership of "Sundancer", as I'm sure you will of yours
