Oxford Ditch AGM

The annual general meeting of the Oxford Ditch Cruising Club was held on Sunday last.

Clive Folley was elected Commode. A voice from the assembled members was heard to say "we're all doomed, doomed I say"

Nevertheless this forum got a good airing, as did the Thames Valley Rally for 2008.
Some scavenger visited every table to finish off the sandwiches and cakes.

I tried to sit at your table because I knew you were all skinny picky eaters, Unfortunately Eileen had already sat down at a table with people I knew would eat everything in sight including crockery, cutlery, table cloth & knapkins. Sure enough within moments it looked like a plague of locusts had been through. Yet your table had a wealth of cakes, sarnies, cream, jam and other goodies left over. BUT! NO! I only eyed them with envy, you will note I didn't touch anything, I knew you had a baton hidden on your knees beneath the table.
