Owen Sails, any good?

Thinking about buying a nice new kevlar main for my 505, they've got one ridiculously cheap that they are selling off on sale. Are they worth a punt?

I've used Owen Sails for a variety of jobs and never had anything other than excellent service and complete satisfaction.

I think that they supplied sails for the Ynglings at the last olympics. I have had Wayfarer racing sails from them, all excellent.

Yes, they are a quality outfit. They have done main,genoa ( both cruising cloth) and a spinny for us plus they remade all our berth cushions. the standard of workmanship is very high, and they are a friendly team to deal with. They are all very hands on, and I had an amusing chat with Chris Owen about my spinnaker colour scheme.

Another vote for Owen, they made my new genoa two years ago, very pleased with service and quality of workmanship.

Brilliant, the response I was hoping for TBH

Just ordered my nice new Shiny Kevlar Main!

Doubt it will be making an appearance on the dinghy soon though! Need to get to grips with it first

They supplied the spinnakers - not the white sails.
