Has anyone been up the South West coast of Sicily lately? We have pretty calm weather and I was wondering whether there are any places to stop other than the marina at Licata? We hate pulling in to steamy hot (and expensive) marinas in this weather and far prefer the hook. Last time we anchored in the outer harbour at Porto Empedocle but I read somewhere that they are now chasing you away? Can you anchor in the outer harbour at Sciacca? We have anchored in the lee of the harbour wall at Mazara but that's nearly there...Any other options on the way?
