Overnight mooring in Burnham on Crouch this Friday

Are there any moorings closer to the town centre than the marina? will have my elderley father onboard
14m motor cruiser 1.2m draught will need to be moored on a floating pontoon to get him on and off

There are no alongside pontoon berths near the town centre. You could go alongside one of the floating jetties to disembark and collect passengers, but borrow a swinging mooring while you enjoy the fleshpots. Leaving a boat on the jetty is bad form, people do it but it's
very inconsiderate.
I would suggest the Royal Burnham Yacht Club pontoon is the most convenient if Father has mobility issues.

Dan's right - dropping off and picking up is okay but probably a better bet is going into the marina and using a local taxi to get into town. Much easier all round.
