Overcoating VC Tar 2 on Keel

I'm getting my cast iron keel blasted back to bare metal shortly & intend to coat with VC Tar 2. However looking at the International web site they seem to talk about coating with the vc range of antifouls which seem to all be hard antifouls with teflon for racing. I want to use an eroding a/f-micron or similar. Anyone know if you can overcoat VC tar 2 with a none vc antifoul?

I found no problem applying eroding EF over VC tar but was advised to put the 1st coat on within 24hrs of applying last coat of VC, I think once properly set there are problems getting anything to adhere to VC, I used TeeMac (I think that's how spelt). Regards, Mike.

I have used both micron and TeaMac over VC Tar, but you do need to get forst coat on within 24 hrs, or rub the VC Tar down with some coarse sandpaper.
