what oil do i put in my volvo 280 ouitdrives.
i would have just put in gearbox oil but somebody told me to use engine oil,help

I've just looked in my manual to double check, it covers 280 & 290 Duoprop and it states engine oil 10W-30 or 10W-40. I alwys use the same oil as I use in my engines.
