Had to replace both sets of hydraulic pipes last weekend as stb set corroded into oblivion and made a right mess of my clean bilge! Anyway, is there a way of bleeding them. I primed them as best I could when fitting and then lifted them 3 times but they still sound like they've got air in the lines.

This was one of the toughest jobs I yet done, requiring me to get my hand to the back of a space about 1/2the size of an orange juice carton, unscrew to almost non existant nuts and then reassemble. Who ever designed these was not thinking of the poor sod (me)who, in 10 years, would have to replace them. Still all done now so just waiting for the weather................and waiting......................and waiting.........and...

If you were doing external flexy pipes, good idea to nip up unions with leg in almost down position.Mine had tendency to undo as leg came down.Used some sort of locktite stuff on threads which cured problem completely.
