Poor old Seagull ....

Ver maligned item ....., it kept many a boater boating for decades ... and most are still chugging around ...

OK so they are not the most economical or environmentally friendly .... but we are talking a small engine that whatever size / model does 3.5 knots.
The damage done to environment by a Seagull engine compared to other factors on the water ... come on lets get this in perspective.

Put a 4 stroke wrong way down on ground - reckon you have more damage to environment than a run across the harbour with Seagull ....

Apples and oranges. Both water-cooled, 4 stroke quieter.

Seagulls are the product of themselves, shite, but they were of their time so respect there.

2 or 3 pulls on the internal tank. 1st pull on an external tank as you can pressurise the fuel system with the bulb.

Oil change, valves. Anyone know what he's on about? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
