4T Mariner 6hp Outboard in a well.
Even whilst warmed up, tickover is fine then after a minute or two often, but not always, the revs start to die right down and the engine often stops.
Often, after starting from cold , but after a fair warm up the tickover stays high but too high to put into gear.
I have checked the throttle stop and that is fine. I have fresh E5 fuel and the choke is engaging and disengaging fine.
The only other adjustment is the Pilot Mixture Screw. I have followed the instructions of gently screwing fully in, then three full unwinds, then screw in until revs die followed by undoing a quarter turn which I have done.
Any ideas ?
TIA
