I was planning to service my Yamaha F4A today including the replacement of the impellor and possibly the pump. I thought I had some Yamaha grease but all I have is some Harken winch grease. Would this be suitable or would the operational temperatures/waterproofness be an issue?

I thought harken winch grease had a magical gold content given its price maybe ? What does the owners handbook say
