Outboard overboard

Been playing on tender in marina, returned back to mother ship and disembarked tender and then dropped outboard into the drink. High tide at moment low tide of 2m tomorrow afternoon what damage do you think i have sustained subject to retrieving engine at low tide . Outboard is Honda 5hp 4 stroke engine , is it a write off please help.

Should be Ok if you can get it up quickly and flush/rinse through with fresh water and get oil into internal oily bits.electronics will be iffy bit.If well encapsulated may well be ok.

Just lets say the best boat in the known universe starts with the letter P

Cover everything in T9 after cleaning it. Seen a TV cvered in T9 chucked in the water whilst plugged in and still work

Retrieved outboard by diving in with rope. Have had it overhauled without any on going problems. I was in good company though as one of the mechanics lost his moped in the drink aswell.
