Don't know what to call it but it's a pump that is used to change the gear oil. I've seen one on YouTube but it was bought from Walmart USA. Where can I get one in UK? I find the plastic tubes of gear oil unsatisfactory.

Just bought the Quicksilver kit

Once I found a suitable bottle for the gear oil, it worked a treat. Gear Oil seems to come with a screw top that does not fit the Quicksilver one. For me a hand soap dispenser was the one nearest to hand.

Regards

Presumably though it will fit the Quicksilver oil bottles ? No?

I'd have thought fitting the outboard gearcase drain hole would have been more of a problem although I believe the basic kit fits 3/8" x 16 tpi , M8 x 1.25mm requiring an adapter. Kits c/wthe metric adapter appear to also be available .

Personally I bought a squeezy bottle of oil with a tapered nozzle in the early days of owing an outboard and have been refilling and using that without problems ever since!
