Watch out for the weight of any O/B or the battery weight if electric. You will need to be able to carry it to/ from the car, dinghy, storage area etc quite often. I have a 5hp Johnson that is a pain to carry around, but my DT2 Suzuki & Seagull 40 Featherweight (there's an inapproprate name!) are much more easily managed.
