My favorite trick is to put the engine in reverse without the thing locked down........
Ahhh.......that causes a bit of a laugh if anyones watching.
The funniest thing I've seen in a while was two blokes messing with the engine on a tender in a narrow staith....the chap in the boat is revving the engine while his mate on the bank is checking the gears out......he checks out forward whilst at the same time his mate checks out full throttle....he'd bounced of the other bank by the time he managed to shut the throttle down, ohh how we laughed..

Sorry no video evidence but I can assure you that this is not fiction and I am that stupid. In case this needs prooving (can't imagine why I am attempting to defent my insanity) I am ure Haydn will turn up one weekend when I am sure my darling wife would love to ridicule me in front of him buy re telling this little tale.
