second the comments about fairweather - found them helpful and straightforward when my aged johnson 2hp finally died and happy with the deal they offered me for a secondhand mercury which has been good so far (now 2nd year) - pleasant people to deal

Chas Newens on the Embankment at Putney. Worth a call before rocking up. Plus you'll prolly get an o/b that's been running in fresh water.

Another recommendation for Fairweather. I bought my 6hp Tohatsu from them last year and they were very helpful, patient and gave me a good price.
