outboard covers

Having failed to find what I am looking for on the web - anyone know where you get one of those soft outboard covers that the police issue? I looked on the Essex and marine police websites, but the info is not obvious to me.

They're usually available at local boat jumbles... I got mine a couple of years ago at Ardleigh

I've been trying to get hold of one too without success however ...

Seamark Nunn have the Sussex Police ones available to order on-line, £16 for the up to 6hp version. Literally about to order one, text sent!!!

Correction, that's SUFFOLK police, not Sussex!

Costs on the leaflet I have is

Small up to 6hp £20.88
Medium up to 20hp is £22.32
Large up to 50hp £24.19
Ex large up to 225hp!!!! £40.32

I think they may have gone up in price since that leaflet was produced, but the Police Lady that deals with them is certainly contactable through the Marine Police Station in Burnham.

If they've gone up, that makes the Essex/Kent ones even more expensive relative to the Suffolk ones and since I've been trying to get an Essex one for two years and could simply order a Suffolk one on-line via my usual chandler .... !

I have just bought one of these.

Saves a few quid, but the postage ramps it up a bit.
