Outboard clamp toggles

Hi

Having suffered seized threads on the outboard clamp screws, I eased them up. Thanks to advice found here, heat gun plus a penetrant (GT85) plus vinegar to attack the corrosion.

During the fight, the toggles both snapped off. Any tips on finding or bodging up replacements? Thanks everyone.

Yamaha 6hp 2 stroke. But I believe the clamp screws are a standard size.

Although in effect two bits of metal with a spacer could do the job

Do you want the screws , or just the handles, and the spring pins

The part numbers change during the 1990s so presumably the parts are not the same throughout.

You can look up look up the part numbers for your year model on a parts list eg at https://www.boats.net/catalog/yamaha but always quote your full model details when ordering from your Yamaha dealer
