Hi,
For my new outboard I am going to join them together with firstly rope then flexible stainless so that when I turn the tiller the outboard matches.
I have done this before with a stainless rail and 2 flexible joints, this was when a rudder was mounted next to the outboard on the back.
Now the tiller is inside the cockpit and so the outboard is mounted directly behind it on the transom. I am going to put blocks on either the pushpit railings or around the stern cleats. Anyone have any suggestions to how this should be fitted and anything I might need to buy before I start the job. I hate getting to the boat to have to leave because that ever important item is a half hour drive away and the day will be useless unless I have it.
Thanks, Jason
