Cookham Packed . Mainly with narrowboats and barges................
Everywhere else including the honeypots strangely quiet.
.....................Blimey even that mooring under the flats at Eton was empty.....and somebody really needs
to rip that PRIVATE notice of the staging and chuck it in the river
:(

Carp in St Kats marina.

The Private notice only applies to the land side of the railings.
The pontoon in front of them is free 24hr mooring, the signs for which are at each end and get obscured by growth in the vegetation in mid summer.
Don’t tell anyone though, otherwise I might not be able to get in there.

Cheers for that...That PRIVATE notice is very prominent indeed compared to the EA placards.
Suspect, almost certainly designed and installed to deter mooring by anybody unaware that it is a public mooring open to all and sundry.
The sign can be seen and read from mid stream....some considerable distance away
In the very rare occassions we stopped, were welcomed by a unfriendly glare from a gentleman occupying one of the flats. :)
